appetizer with cream cheese.....spicy sauce and shrimp with crackers

my mother had a german cleaner who used to make those chocolate and vanilla
cookies that looked like a checkerboard

might attempt some this year

I will be baking a batch of pizzelles ... maybe two batches ... one for the reception after our annual Christmas concert on the 15th; and another batch to take to work.  They're so yummy and very easy to prepare ... all you need are very simple and wholesome ingredients, and the decorative waffle iron ... have had that appliance for over 40 years! Smile

I found an easier way to make those brown and white cookies

...............will try this weekend and take them for after mass
