Hi all, just a reminder, unlike some sites, there is no fees to register here on Catholic Hangout. We're not here to attract dates for you, but to continue that camaraderie we all had at another site before they took down their forum. We hope this forum is serving the purpose it is intended to do.
But, "no charge" does not mean no expenses. It costs a bit to keep this site up. No one gets paid, the staff gladly volunteers their time, we are not here for profit, 100% of donations go to keep us running. Like any site, we still have the reoccurring expenses of server space, domain name retention, SSL certificate and a few other occasional charges. We will not accept advertising or a sponsor, so we are hoping to cover these expenses as they come up through member donations. We've had a few members that have heeded the call and we're thankful to them, so we're covered for now, but we don't want to wait until new bills come due to remind folks that we are in need of some donations. We're not asking for a lot, to be sure, if you can't afford to send us anything, we understand, but if you can afford to send us a little something now so we don't have to worry about bills later, it would be greatly appreciated. Instructions are in this thread, let us know if you try and there's an issue.
I have moved a few posts to here, so if they seem out of order, they were posted before this thread was opened. The point remains, give something if you can,and don't worry if you can't, just do your best please.
