I'm a Millennial, and I've been in the workforce for a decent time now. I find some Gen Zers to be entitled, whiny, undisciplined, and bratty. One in particular has no respect for authority. She whines, "EWWWWW!!!!!!" and "What do you want now?!?"
I was talking with some older colleagues with at least 10 years more experience than me. They said that 15 years ago, pharmacy techs used to ask pharmacists, "What else can I do?"
Gen Z techs now play on their phones and scowl at you when you give them work.
I'm kinda at the end of my rope. If my supervisor sees my post, I don't care.
The problem is they are shooting themselves in the foot. Come the next recession, who is going to be made redundant, the person who works or the person who plays on their phone?
The world is a competitive place and other countries crave the top table. If the work force of current lead countries don't pull their weight, then the work force of other countries will and those countries will overtake.
GenZ will have only themselves to blame, except they'll be too busy playing on their phones, blaming others.
