Nobody can say anything about your memory Don! You recall stories better than I do! Thank you for the replies. I feel myself again after a Saturday rant and some catch up work. Time in your own head and avoiding everyone elses is a cure all!
Good that you found a way to deal with this, we all need to deal with these situations in our own way. My wife was their boss and really didn't know how to react. Her solution was to talk to me and relieve her concerns. You have to decide how these things affect you. I still remember that one-sentence sermon by our young priest back in the 90's, "What are you going to do today to show that you are a Christian?" And he walked away, amazing isn't it? I think about that sentence frequently when the need occurs, that's my way of confronting these situations. Causing a ruckus by confronting these people is not Christian and can only jeopardize your position at work. They may not even be aware that these things are abnormal and sinful for many folks. Remember the discussion I started on CM a while back, "are you committing a sin if you don't know what you're doing is a sin?" My point is that this way of living just might cause God to get upset and cause action to those that willingly do what they know is wrong, but in the meantime you or I can do little to change how these people think.
Know that they are wrong, do not let it get you upset. Just pray that someday these folks will change the way they behave, and realize how they affect others, especially the younger generation.
As for my memory, I thank God daily for allowing me to remain as physically and mentally well as I am for my age. I do feel blessed.
