The purpose of medicine is to objectively diagnose ailments and illnesses - deviations from normal anatomy and physiology - NOT what is socially "correct" and expedient.
Bingo!!! I was filling out a form for a new doctor and had a choice, "Male", "Female", "Something else" so we no longer have two genders. I also saw "Gender declared at birth", meaning you can declare something else if you please. No one should be allowed to change their birth certificate just because they want to be a different gender, yet there are laws being discussed to do just that.
