The above examples are disgusting. It seems that we have eliminated all boundaries that used to keep people safe. It is like the game of Jenga. Eventually, the last block will be removed and the whole thing (i.e,, Western Civilization) will come tumbling down. The Broadway show (1957) and movie (1961) "West Side Story" had a song called "Officer Krupke." The writer of the song wanted to be the first to drop the F-bomb. But saner heads prevailed. Instead, the stand-in "Krup you" was used. Today, it is hard to find a movie that does not use the F-bomb. Maybe, there is hope. Movies in the 1920s were terrible. Someone at a talk I attended mentioned a movie with Mae West, which he described as "risque even by today's standards." The Catholic Legion of Decency cleaned things up. One would hope that this could happen again.
