Ham is more traditional for Easter. But it's interesting that I read an article recently that most of the Christian world eats lamb for Easter and that this was the case in the U.S. until the mid-20th century. I would just do what is easier for you.

My Mom would prepare either lamb or ham... I love both; but don't know yet what I'll prepare.  I'm leaning towards a couple lamb chops with mint jelly.  They're very expensive, but I figure that I can treat myself, once a year, on this special occasion.
