The Passing of ezdays
#1
It is with deep regret to inform you of the passing of my dad, Don (a.k.a. ezdays) this afternoon.  He was a founding member of this forum and instrumental in getting it up and running.  I know he considered many of you friends and extended family and talked about you and this forum quite often.

The family is planning a service at some point, and I will keep you posted as we progress.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and let Your perpetual light shine upon him.
May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.
Amen.

Your father was a good friend and a gentleman. I enjoyed all our exchanges and texts. Prayers for him, and for all of you.

Thank you so much for letting us know.  Your father was a wonderful man and I feel privileged to have known him.  He had friends, through this forum from across the world which I feel is a testament for his zest for life during his longer years.  I will miss his wisdom and kindness.  He was an extraordinary man.

Much love to you and his family.  You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. He's been in my prayers ever since I met him last year. He was a joy to know. I will miss our lunches together and our conversations. May he rest in peace, finally pain-free, and rest in the arms of the angels. I am going to have a mass said for him.

So Sorry for your Loss, and it will be for us as well.  I can say without reservation (and im sure many will say as well) there were many many folks here and on CM that enjoyed interacting with your Dad, his reminiscing of the way things were in the past, and his words of Wisdom. We are grateful for his and your efforts in creating this space for us to continue our Catholic fellowship.

My Prayers for you and your family, and may his Soul and the Souls of the faithful departed rest in eternal peace.   ??

Joanne, He spoke of you often and always looked forward to seeing you. It is nice to put a face to the name. I am sure you will miss him and will pray for you as you miss your dear friend.

He told so many wonderful stories of you and your family. How lucky we are to have shared him with you. His zest for life and pushing through is a lesson for us all. We would not have been here together without him and this entire site is his legacy. Please let me know how I can contribute to its continuance if you decide to do so. Sending so much love. I will mis him dearly. He was a father to me like he was my own and I am so grateful. He was a constant safe chat buddy... how lucky was I?

Diane,
He spoke often to me about you. He thought of you as a daughter. We will both miss his wit, wisdom, and charm. I am very blest to have known him.
