Welcome to the Catholic Hangout
May 28th, 2025 Update
#1
Hi members of CatholicHangout!

A quick update:

After careful discernment and reading suggestions from a few members to balance both privacy and attract new users, now guests will only be allowed to see the following:

1. A new section for guests under the Catholic Hangout Rules and Stuff section (under construction at the moment)
2. Under the For Everyone section, only the General Discussion Threads and Catholic Faith Threads (the rest of the For Everyone section will only be available for registered members)

If a guest wants to see the remaining parts of CatholicHangout (Lifestyles, Relationships, etc.), then the guest must register to browse the rest of CatholicHangout.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to send me an email or a private message. For now, this thread will be locked.

I would suggest as you're developing the "rules and stuff section," you include information about the purpose of the forum and a general overview of the topics that have been discussed. I would also recommend changing the title to something more inviting and specific like "Welcome to Catholic Hangout," "Interactions on Catholic Hangout," or "Vision and expectations."
