I wonder whether it's the autism that needs to be listened to and addressed rather than supporting people with gender reassignment. The latter seems a drastic and irreversible option.
I wonder who is driving this. Do they have children who wish to gender reassign? I don't see how gender reassignment is compatible with evolutionary theory. It's an evolutionary dead end, as Sir William says, the surgery and hormones make you sterile.
It would make me think twice about having children. A needless complication when you can have another type of life.
I can certainly relate...........my autistic son was influenced greatly in his teen years.....
when he was very violent towards me the workers at a group home,
definitely encouraged cross dressing and more.......even when going to school which
was horrific.........thankfully we achieved private finding in 2009
and all reversed easily........especially when he started learning a realistic normal life
but for God's grace go I....
